Extra-Curricular

Our extra curricular opportunities at Lotus School offer a set of experiences that give pupils opportunities to develop their interests and talents.

Our clubs and activities are always reviewed to take into account student interests. Throughout the week pupils’ can access various clubs and opportunities which include:

• Football club
• Fitness in the activate room at break and lunch times
• Boxing coaching from Davies Gym on Monday afternoons
• Quiet room at break and lunchtime
• Music room and instrumental lessons
• Dungeons and Dragons club on Wednesday lunchtimes

Outdoor Education

Pupils at Lotus have many opportunities to learn and develop outside of the classroom. During 2023-2024 Lotus pupils have participated in the following outdoor educational activities with Sporting NRG:
• Mountain Biking
• Climbing
• Team building activities
• Kayaking
• Walking
• Geo Caching
• Camp skills
• Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award in Year 9

Blackpool Local Offer

Students and families can also be supported by our Family Support Worker to access the wide range of opportunities out of school open to students and families within the Blackpool Local Offer. Some examples of opportunities open to students and families are listed below however the full range of options can be found on the link above.
