Core Self

Core Self allows students to explore their own developing identity with a focus on understanding who they are, what their values are, how they can communicate effectively, how they can build empathy and connect with people, as well as how to understand and manage emotions and proactively look after their mental health.

This subject also helps students to explore British Values such as democracy, tolerance, respect, liberty and rule of law and includes Religious Education where students can learn about faith, beliefs, belonging, kindness and community.
